Skip Barber Driving School and Skip Barber Racing School being based in Lime Rock Park Race Track and just about one mile away, Inn at Iron Masters is uniquely situated as your lodging of choice when you and your party come to take part in one of Skip Barber's wonderful driving and racing programs. Since 1975, Skip Barber has operated a fully integrated system of racing schools and driving schools in more than 20 of the finest race tracks across North America, including the famous Lime Rock Park Race Track right here.

What you want to know before you head for Skip Barber Schools:
- Racing School teaches fundamentals of auto racing.
- Driving School, on the other hand, teaches fundamentals of safe, enjoyable street driving.
- Your friends and family can come along, though only you the enrolled student can be in the cars. Bring along a video camera too.
- You will be driving specially provided cars in either school, not your own.
- In Skip Barber three day Racing School, you will be “unlimited” your speed, up to well over 100 mph!
- Skip Barber three day Racing School graduate is eligible and can apply for an SCCA regional license.
- The tuition you pay covers everything you need on the track. You are responsible for food, travel and lodging (at Inn at Iron Masters, of course!)
- Minimum requirement for a student: 16 years or older with a valid driver’s license and able to drive a manual transmission.
- Racing School is not only for race drivers, but also for those who just yearn the anticipation and curiosity of driving race cars.
- Driving School gives you the time of your life, and skills that may save your life.
- Either Racing School or Driving School is an excellent choice for teenage drivers.
- There is a height and weight restriction of 6’5” and/or 240 lbs. for programs that use Dodge race car.
